The Essex Image Vault site is best viewed with Microsoft
Internet Explorer 5 and above.
INTERNET EXPLORER SECURITY
Parts of our web site will not function correctly if you
have selected the highest possible security settings within
Internet Explorer because this mode disables Active Scripting.
If you encounter problems, you may correct them by doing
the following:
In your Internet Explorer browser select “Internet
Options" from the Tools menu.
Select the security tab at the top of the popup window that
appears
Click and drag the sliding scale bar down from highest to
medium
Click “OK.”
Complete your transaction.
Re-instate your former security settings once you are ready
to exit the site by reversing steps 1 – 4.
PROBLEMS ACCESSING SECURE
AREAS
If you are on a network and encounter difficulties accessing
secure areas of the Essex Image Vault site, ask your network
administrator for assistance. Possible solutions include
configuring Internet Explorer to Use Secure Sockets Layer
(SSL) versions of 2.0 and 3.0, ciphering strength value
in Internet Explorer, and clearing temporary Internet files,
cookies, and history.
Changing settings on a computer that is connected to a
network at any time can affect the entire network, so please
contact your network administrator prior to attempting to
implement any solutions. Essex Image Vault will not be held
liable for damage.
SITE SECURITY
We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring
and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site. We
have appropriate security measures in place in our physical
facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration
of information that we have collected from customers at
our site.
We use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)--the highest standard
in online encryption technology--to ensure that your personal
and credit card information remains secure. SSL encryption
allows you to shop with confidence, knowing that only you
and Essex Image Vault have the ability to access your information.
Keeping customer information private is a priority for
Essex Image Vault. We will not sell, rent, or loan customer
information to any third party. Whenever you access a secure
page on our site, the information you send is immediately
encrypted for your protection.
SHIPPING
All orders are shipped using UPS and are fully insured in
transit. Shipping costs $7.50 for orders of less than $74
and $12.95 for orders of $75 and higher.
We ship to verifiable, physical street addresses within
the U.S. only. Please note that we are unable to ship to
international addresses, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, and
APO addresses.
A recipient signature is required for delivery. For your
security, you or another authorized adult must be available
to sign for your package at the designated shipping address.
PAYMENT
Essex Image Vault accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American
Express credit cards. We do not accept checks, cash, debit
cards, or COD. The purchase amount is allocated when your
order is accepted and your credit card will be billed at
the time of shipment.
A sales tax of 5% is added to any print shipped to Massachusetts
addresses. Sales tax is not charged on shipments to addresses
outside of Massachusetts. Non-Massachusetts customers are
responsible for reporting and paying sales tax in their
own states.
RETURNS
Due to the fact that Essex Image Vault generates prints
on demand, we must ask that you consider all sales final.
However, your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to
us. All prints are subjected to a rigorous quality control
process prior to shipping, and leave our studio in top condition.
PHOTOGRAPH QUALITY
At Essex Image Vault, we take pride in the detail and clarity
of our photographs. We use sophisticated digital technology
in the production of our prints. The original negative or
photograph is scanned before it is prepared to be printed
for you. During this process, any creases or scratches that
may have appeared over the years are painstakingly removed.
LICENSING
Photographs in the Essex Images collection are available
for licensing. If you wish to reproduce one of our photographic
images in a publication or in any other manner, please contact
us at Essex
Images Licensing Department.
